Home security systems have evolved into a lot of faces these days from wired to wireless; from ultra big to small packet devices; and from manual to automatic. Many homes want these days are getting into wireless systems technology because of the following reasons:

a.      Wireless systems technology is very reliable in transmitting data.   The reason to reliability is due to the many existing signal transmitters in the area and because of this, all the more that people have become positive about using the wireless technology.
b.     Wireless systems are very easy to install.  The logic to this is because there are fewer cables and wires that need to be installed altogether. 
c.      Wireless systems are very cheap and economical.  This because the presence of many satellite dishes that made the presence of wireless technology a lot more inexpensive.

However, along with these advantages, there are also disadvantages that wireless technology brings.  And some of these are the following:

a.       Wireless systems are battery dependent.  This means that you need to regularly check whether it still has enough power or not.
b.     When the home is filled with barriers such as huge firewall and the like, there is likelihood that transmittal of signals can be disrupted.
